Vera is used to getting her way. Between her charm, her wealth, and her perseverance, there isn't a thrill she hasn't pursued, or a risk she hasn't taken. So when she is turned away from the VIP area during a night of drinking and casino-hopping, she knows she has to get in on that action.
But can she handle the hungry denizens that dwell on the other side of the red satin? It's one thing to risk one's money, but the stakes are much, much higher here--and the game is, of course, rigged.
